With one foot in France and the other in San Francisco, what started as an experiment quickly transformed into a role at a luxury Parisian fragrance house, a new permanent address and a new understanding of what truly personal beauty could mean.
One unexpected blessing of making a new home was return to life's essentials. Days were no longer punctuated by events or deadlines—instead, time was marked by the changing light, the way skin felt in different weather, and the simple rituals that grounded each day.
These rituals became my compass home. Monday arrived with Monday arrived with the walk to the office through the loud streets Paris, Tuesday with the familiar scent of moss of my Lancaster, Pennsylvania hometown, and Wednesday with the crisp scent of kir cocktails at apéro. Each moment was a bridge between worlds, connecting past and present, memory and moment.
